I wanted to give a little heads up about the Singing Oaks Gathering meetings that were taking place on Wednesdays before church, have been moved to Saturdays at 10am. You can still talk to Dick if you'd like to help out :).
Also, there's going to be a fundraiser at Dayspring this Saturday at 6pm! The UMC Praise Band is coming out to perform and it'll be a good 'ol time! So come on out and enjoy yourselves! :)

{Upcoming Events}
Hello Everyone! How are you doing on this amazingly beautiful Wednesday? :)
Now, I know that not everyone has a facebook, which is where I post most of the updates, but you do not need a facebook account to view the page! You can still see the updates and view the events page without one. So please go ahead and click the Events tab up top and view our upcoming events list.
And now that we've gotten that out of the way, lets talk about what the church has going on for the next couple of months.
First- Don't forget to come out to the Fort Creve Coeur Rendezvous. The drum will be there on the 18th all day and on the 19th until noon. So come check them out and enjoy the drum :)
Second- On June 1st there will be a fundraiser at the church. The UMC Praise Band will be performing! So please head on out to the church and check them. I'm not sure of the official time, so check the facebook page for that as soon as I know, you'll know.
Third- (and maybe the most important) The church will be hosting the Singing Oaks Gathering this fall. We have a meeting every Wednesday before drum practice to talk about the updates. If you'd like to help out with that you can talk to Dick. There will be a facebook page for it as soon as things start coming together a little more. So keep an eye out for that.

{Good Friday Service}
Hi Everyone!
It's Wednesday! That means it's almost Friday! And as we all know, Easter is this weekend :). Yay! I was just informed that there will be a 6pm service on Good Friday. That is this Friday at 6pm. So tell your friends, pass it around.
This does not mean there will be no services on Sundays, Sunday services will take place as usual :)

As many of you know I have been trying to find a way to get the old website taken down so that 'this' was the only one we had. When people search "Dayspring Church East Peoria", it is not helpful to have a website that is completely outdated and no longer even run pop up. So with some help from the staff of where the website was being hosted we got it taken down. Now when people search for us, it will be this site that they find the information on :). We're going to work on getting a .com or .org website address as soon as possible. Don't worry you won't have to type in anything new, even using the one that is currently associated with this site will take you right where you want to be. I just thought I would let you all know that we are finally making some progress in getting our social media problems taken care of.

Site Update!
Hi Everyone! I hope you're having a great weekend so far. I just wanted to pop on right quick to inform you that I've made a new tab for the site. Now you can read the weekly handouts that pastor provides even if you weren't able to attend church! Simply click on the Weekly Handouts tab up top and you'll be taken right to that page.
From there just click the image and you'll be taken to a larger version of it. You will most likely have to click the image again after it's opened to get a larger readable version. There's really nothing I can do about the extra step right now, I am searching for a way to get rid of it though.
As for when they will be posted, I'll try to get them done every Sunday after church. So expect them around 7pm. Since drum practice is right after church I'll have to do it after that. I promise it will be there Monday morning though.
